Gas Crunch...

hey now. Posted by Picasa
So Saturday afternoon I am driving home. I have just had a tremendous ride around the Dillsburgh, pa trail system with Buck, Old Man Withers, Keith G (bobby’s boy), Buddy the leg breaker, and Scott. After the ride Krissy, Keith’s wife had a spectacular spread of food for us. I didn’t want to be rude, so I partook of wonderful burgers, pasta salad, and tasty watermelon. Consequently, I am about an hour late, but not yet busted. My cell phone rings. It is my lovely wife Diane (chunky monkey). She tells me that she has been running around all day, and was getting ready to go for a ride herself with Kathleen, FFAmy, Jaime (world’s expert on rip currents), and Les the international man of mystery, over in Fairhill. I was excited to hear this, because it mean, that despite getting home late, I’d still be home before her, and thus get away clean. But then, Diane dropped this on me, “ yeah, the lawn mower stopped working today. It’s in the side yard, I was riding it, cutting away, and then the oil light flashed and it died. I hope I didn’t seize it up, well gotta go, I’m holding up the ride. See if you can’t get it running. Love ya, bye.”
