In my 5 years at the school we won our conference 3 times. Because of my approach, I didn’t have a lot of friends in that game, and admitally wrestling isn’t really all that fun, it’s more of a beat someone’s ass or have your ass beat kinda thing. As a coach the rush for me was developing the kids, encouraging them to be individuals and re-define what being an athelete meant. Of course I loved out coaching my rivals, and winning matches that my team had no business winning. Riding a bike however, is a beautiful, fun experience in of itself, and that’s before you even talk about entering a race.
