coming through for a lap...

Lap 5 was pretty uneventful; we rode in what I thought were 4-6, three single speeds. I was pretty excited to be a apart of the enduro singlespeed train of death. Well, that didn’t last too long.
Start of lap 6, I started to cramp brutally in both legs. Climbing up to the single track, I had to get off and walk. This would be the last I see of Jaime. I thought I was done, my first thought is, great 2 hours to go, and I’m dead in the water. I hurt so bad I started to cry a little bit. I saw Eric Miller from guys and he offered me a beer. Eric’s a good kid, but I kindly declined. I was in a world of hurt, I heard fitzy’s voice in my head, “the 6 hour race is a test of will, you will hurt, but you have to keep driving forward. You have to will yourself to the line.”
