At the end of Lap 3 I saw Diane up ahead of me as she was getting close to finishing up, I sang to her, “honey, honey won’t you come dance with me!” she smiled as I passed. I thought, “I love racing with her."

At the start of Lap 4 I felt some slight cramping in my left leg, I was been drinking a lot, and was already onto my second camelback. This was not good.

Big Ben Yoder and Jamie who had been riding together bridged up to me. We stopped at their pit as they have a head set adjustment, and Bob got me a beer. The beer tasted so good, and either I had a slight buzz, or my cramps went away. Maybe both. That was good.
