For me, it might have been my best 24hr ever. The course was super technical with tons of rocks. I could not get enough. Save for trying to crash into a lake at night while making an ill advised pass, I never dabbed, I never had any issues with any section. I was so stoked. The Spot Brand 29ers were eating up the rocks like nothing. There were 2 sustained climbs, the final being a 2 mile stretch which kicked up very hard at the end. I suffered but was able to climb, well, damn fast, which is really weird for me. This was my favorite course ever when we raced here 2 years ago, and this year, they added more single track, and it is really my favorite course now.

YEAH Lauri !!!!!!!!!!
That would have been me you tried to pass "into" the lake. I heard you coming and figured that would be a good section for you to get by. Then I heard the, "Ugghh, thunk, sweeesh (sliding in grass)" Scared the be-Jesus out of me thinking maybe it was a bear breathing down my neck. Recognized the "SB Whore" logo as you flew by 30 seconds later with the smell of adrenaline in your wake. It was the small pond just after the campsite about 2-3 miles in.
