The Race.
We won. We freaking won, like I have never won in my life. It was sick. I have done 16 of these team 24hr races now. I have been lucky to be on 5 winning teams now. We have a system; it gives us the best chance to shine. We have Fitzy (Johan) who is 5-1 when managing 24hr teams. But never, I have I been a part of a team that ran away with the race from the gate, and never looked back. In the 4 previous wins, it was always nip and tuck, a fight until usually the last man went out at just before noon on Sunday. But this weekend, this team, was something special. Dan the Man, Slick Rick, LWebb, Buddy the Leg Breaker and I, had a race of our lives, and that is how I will choose to remember it.
