While Lauri was riding Loretta, a friend of ours from racing came over to me and said, “what are you going to do when they are gone. Aren’t you going to be lost? You and Lauri race everywhere together. People expect to see you racing as a team.” I was kinda speechless. I already have a reputation for crying at these things, I was thinking to myself, jeeze Loretta do you want to bring me to tears right here? Just kick me in the nuts.
