So for the Sport Race, my parents where marshalling the first road crossing. At the rider’s meeting I asked all the riders to wish my mom a happy mother’s day as they rode through that section. My mom was really stoked. First she said, “I thought the racers were really nice, when 1-2 folks came through and said, Happy Mother’s Day Mrs. V, but then more and more people, and everyone was saying Happy Mother’s day! I knew that you were up to something then.” She further commented that it might have been the most happy mother’s days she has ever gotten in one day. Hats off to all of the Sport racers.
