Fitzy put in a good effort. 7 laps. I give him credit the race didn't start off as he wanted. he pulled up, took a break, re-set and went back to it. he talked about bailing but fought to get out for one more lap just before noon.
it is too easy to listen to the voices in our heads after one lap I wanted to stop I normally do not vomit wretch yes not vomit and well i had to take the advice I always give "get on the bike... you will feel fine once you are back on the bike" and I was right the last five laps felt better than the first
