the white stuff is snow...

4:30 a.m. came really early. I loaded up the toaster and was off to meet up with my Spot Brand Teammates, and other friends for the trip. The drive was about two and a half hours, it was very good. We arrived at the race, it started raining. Figures, bone dry for the last 2 months, the first race comes up, and we get rain. Still the course was really good, and a lot of fun, the folks from bulldog have a really good event. Buddy and I raced the expert duo class. We started out probably a little too strongly, I tried to be patient, but kept chasing folks in front of me. Buddy would rein me in, but damn that's hard. First two laps, I probably pushed the tempo too much. We rode with Elk for a while, and had a Super Train of Spot Brand Death with the three of us plowing through. That was pretty cool.
