Wednesday Night Titans ?

Todd was SPOTED killing us on 5 bridges tonight...

Really fun ride last night. Fast, and fun. Todd (old, local, one speed), Mike K (21 ebay auctions today!), Buddy the leg breaker, and Matty T (run forest), and I head out of my place for what I described as "I haven't ridden a mountain bike in over a week" pace in Fairhill. Which to be honest I didn't know what that would look like.

I was the maestro, and I will admit out the gate I felt a little weird. We dove into crack head bob, which is a really tight trail. That was fun, but I felt a little weird. Buddy was rocking his new Jones Bar, and I think this was his first experience in the super tight section. Todd covered my wheel like a fly on shit.

At the end of Crack Head bob, Jay Jay joined in for some fun, but he was on drugs, and bailed out a little later. Basically we turned ourselves inside out for an hour and a half.

Yup, It was good clean fun. Trails were fast and had great traction, except for where they didn't. Up 5 bridges, Todd wrestled the lead from me and attacked hard. Matty T covered. Todd took the bail out on top of the trail, Stating, " we're at the top, why ride down just to climb up a field ?" Translation "I blew my wad, and I don't want to climb if I don't have to..." Todd you are a cagey bastard. We spun out together, Buddy looked a little worse for his wear, I expected him to spin home, but he attacked up the Big Elk Chapel Road climb back to my house. Matt, Mike and I tried to cover, but it just wasn't happening, it was a strong, classic leg breaker move.

Afterwards we sat around, talked shit, and drank some beers. Classic summer's night ride. Beautiful. We hope to rinse and repeat tonight from the North Appleton lot at 5:30 and 6:00. I'll be in the 6:00 pick up...
