The Return of Granny; 24hrs of Big Bear

Matt Loves to Run...

This was one of my favorite biking weekends ever. There is no way in this limited space that I can possibly capture every moment or even begin to share all the jokes, and the laughs, the hard efforts, everything that went down. Lots of good people, lots of great racing, lots of fun, the race was great. But this is a blog, and I like to tell stories so I will try to capture a few of my memories and thoughts to share from the weekend:

nice job...it sounds like a fun fun weekend.

2 questions:

what gearing were you running?

was the course conducive to a rigid fork?

sounds like a great race
sounds like you had a great time
sounds like you had great results

I wish I could have been there
was depressed all weekend knowing that people were out there "doing it" while I was... well... I was having a good time
but nothing cycling related

oh...
that 29/26 inch combo
I was going to set one of those up in the classic FRANKENBIKE style
in an effort to replicate my old SM600 that had a 26 in the front and 24 in the back...
the only bike I could ever bunny hop!
