Slick Rick thinking "how many times is this hack gonna buckle me tonight?"
Despicable, untrustworthy, unsettling. Maybe one character you can feel for. Perhaps the biggest chick Anti-hero movie I ever saw. Black Book. Basically a chick movie that makes women kind look like punks. Who wrote this movie Al Bundy? Holly Hunter was mega, mega biatch. Brittany Murphy, want to like her, but still can't find a movie I like her in. If you are a woman who wants to see the darker side of your sisters, watch it, if you're a guy and want to feel violated this is for you. Otherwise avoid it like the plague. The guy from office space is the heroic man in this masterpiece. "so, I see you've been missing a lot of work." "Oh, I wouldn't say I've been missing it." Should have just watched office space. "have you seen my swingline Stapler ?"
Yesterday I served my final day of 8 weeks, of one day of sitting in the basement of the Cecil County Courthouse for Jury duty. Yesterday they sat us outside of the court rooms, while waiting to see if we would be selected. Highlights included the fellas in the bright orange of the CCCD and young PWTy fellow busting out of the court room and thrusting his arms in the air exclaiming, "I'm free!, I'm Free !" Best of all was when a defense lawyer said to his client, "congratulations, you got a good deal, now I don't want to see you back in here" to which the defendant replied, "we'll see" Well, that's glowing ray of hope if I ever heard one.
Rode the Mountain bike for the 2nd day in a row. Can't remember the last time I said that. Zeke told me that MR was too soft, so Slick Rick and I hit Rittenhouse and Ironhill. My back/hip/ass cheek felt much better today. Still rode too shy at Rittenhouse, there are a couple of tight little sections that I am not carrying enough momentum to roll yet. I know I buckled Slick Rick at least 4 times badly.
Form will come with persistence (wailing tails). Scary to think it but Rittenhouse may be the epitome of technical riding in Newark now. Shit White Clay is a super speedway. FairHill, is well Fair Hill, I guess there's still MR, but damn nothing is as tight twisty or holds the biggest penalty for an error like Rittenhouse. You miss you line here and you're gonna take a swim in the Christina River.
Iron Hill was in great shape. We just did a perimeter loop, but damn it was nice. Actually had 2 climbs tonight, nothing from the very bottom but still they went well. I felt good going up, and didn't have to stop for 10 minutes at the top. Looking forward to a good weekend of riding, and hopefully getting into Fairhill Sunday.
Hear Wayne , the Erik Zable of MidAtlantic Cross, is thinking about doing a double for fairhill cross this fall. If it goes down I'm having a party Saturday night between races. Live like a rock star.
Looking forward to a good dinner with Diane tonight. Maybe even a beer ...
Respect
