Okay, so very quickly my clothes are feeling really tight. Been on the see food diet, as in If I see it and it's not nailed down I'll eat it. One of my goals for 2006 is to go into base phase with in 2 pounds of race weight, and hopefully get down another 5lbs. Let me put some numbers here: I want to start base at 170lbs, I want to get down to 165lbs for the season.

I set up my B cross bike as a fixie. I rode that a lunch today. Holy crap that was hard. I was gonna ride that on the Amnesty ride, but clearly I have no Fixie skills, gotta get better with that before I rock in a big group. I am looking forward to going back to Elk Neck this weekend. The loop is small, maybe we'll have to double up, no worries though it's big fun. Anyway, anyone see any great shows of note ? And Elle, don't be bringin' that Barry Manilow shit.

Just stumbled across your blog.

1. Wilco at Red Rocks.
2. Radiohead at Red Rocks '04
3. Radiohead at The Masquerade (in doors, super small venue in Atlanta. Just after The Bends came out. Smoking Popes and Triping Daisy opened.)
4. Ryan Adams at the Gothic. Epic Show
5. The Libertines at Larimer Lounge.
6. Wilco at the Boulder Theater.
7. Many many more that were contained in the brain cells I've killed from oxygen deprivation and alcohol consumption.

Good luck with the weight loss. I'm in about the same place as you, but I only have 6 weeks before the intensity kicks up. Damn the tasty microbrews.

Learn the fixie, love the fixie. Brings you back to when you rode a bike as a kid, just a little harder.

Top ones that stick in my mind.

1) Dead, 2nd row center Cap Center, early '91.

2) Replacements at the TLA, late 80's. 26 songs non-stop. Awesome!

3) U2. FU Center in a corp box for Beatiful day tour. That is the way to see a show.

4) Any other Dead show, for a multitude of reasons.

5) Lux will like this. Kix, reunion show last December at Dragonfly in Harrisburg. Brought me back to my high school days.

6) BoDeans, '88. George Washington campus. Maybe it was the "supplements"

7) Kid Rock at the MGM in Vegas. Company dime awards trip. My colleagues have fancy dinners. I drink mine with Amy & Kid Rock.

8)Stones, Carrier Dome late 80's & Hershey 2005. I took Amy for her Bday. Farthest seats in the house, from the stage, each time. The shows rocked and it was for Amy.
