Dan the man keepin' it real...

Sunday, I went back to race. It had snowed and rained Saturday night, and the course was a mud bath. I got a good start, and got rolling. I knew for what ever reason I didn't have my best stuff this weekend, but unlike Saturday where I just fell apart; my goal was to fight and scrap, to keep a good mental attitude. I battled with a number of folks, Rob Lyons and I traded spots, Kelly, Jeff and Doug and traded a couple before getting around me, but I fought. I trudged through the mud and finished up 14th. Not my best day, not a pretty day, but I rode in my group. I rode with some god damn self respect today. It was much better. Not pretty but certainly better.
