Crush

So I haven't posted for a while. sorry.

I haven't touched my bikes since my nats race, aside from cleaning them. Work has been crazy, but that's cool too. Started building up the gay UPS truck yesterday. Gonna debut that this weekend hopefully.

So here are my top 10 favorite movies. Debatable but here they are, list of course could be persuaded to be changed...

1. dogtown and the z boys
2. Old School
3. some kind of wonderful
4. caddyshack
5. star wars (all of them as a piece)
6. Xmen 2
7. breaking away (i actually have this on dvd)
8. jersey girl
9. Grosse Point Blank
10. Good Company

number of others were close and could jump in depending on my mood.
I also really liked i robot but didn't feel it in my top 10. Good company is shakey but scarlett johenson is beautiful, and I like that topher grace fella. He's gonna be a really good actor someday.

what about you? 5 or 10 best movies?

respect

Dude-
You gotta get out of the 'new release' section of the video store.
All time top 10 favorites:
1. Casablanca. Bogart at his best. Need I say more?
2. Brazil. Gilliam is one of my 2 favorite directors. It’s amazing this movie ever got released. Robert DeNeiro as a terrorist plumber. Awesome.
3. Repo Man. Life as a repo man is always intense…
4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Lucas should have stopped here. No Muppets, no racist Jar Jar Binks..
5. Clerks. Story of my life. Sort of…
6. The Outlaw Josey Wales. My other favorite director. I thought about putting Pale Rider here, but I like the Josey storyline better.
7. Breaking Away. First time I ever cried at a movie. Seriously. It’s all that father son stuff…
8. Reservoir Dogs. Think back to before you knew what a Tarentino film was all about. Then imagine the Dogs is your first glimpse…
9. Animal House. The classics never go out of style.
10. Point Break. Zen surfing bank robbers. Starring Keanu Reaves and Patrick Swayze. If you’re gonna watch crap, make it worth your while.

5) Triplets of Belleville--cute dog and crazy grandmother

4. Snatch (another goodie from Madonna's man)
5. Hi-Fidelity (your precious Echo)
6. Anchorman (right in the "baby maker")

Good List. I agree with Mega though, Triplets of Belleville should be on it, I loved it, I own it. I just love the dog when that train goes by....

Also, I am major Old School fan, but Wedding Crashers is creeping the more I see it.

In the Christmas spirit - how about "Christmas Story"?

Hmm, in no particular order, Star Wars, Matrix, LOTR, Chariots of Fire (I still feel inspired to go for a run when I hear the music. And that never ends well...), Best Years of Our Lives, Bull Durham, Lawrence of Arabia...

Not 10, not 5, but somewhere in there.

Now the key is you have to watch everyone's favorites over the holidays...

Merry Christmas!

1. The Decline of Western Civilization

The way it was before corporate America got it's grubby hands on punk rock

2. Touch of Evil

I hear the director's cut has a donkey scene filmed in Tijuana. Just kidding.

3. Koyaanisqatsi

Filmed twenty years ago, the subject matter resonates more today than it did back in the '80's

4. The French Connection

Has one of the best chase scenes ever filmed

5. Office Space

Gotta love Jennifer Aniston's nude scenes. Wait...she didn't get naked, did she? Still, it's a great movie...too fucking funny.

6. Full Metal Jacket

Intense. One of Kubrick's best.

7. Breakfast at Tiffany's

Gotta love the bossa nova...and Hepburn's short dresses...

8. A Hard Day's Night

Even if you're not a Beatles fan...

9. Rocky

I live in South Philly, so I'm slightly biased. Still can't believe Stallone is making yet another sequel.

10. Suburbia

Shouldn't it be "Richard Hanged Himself"?
