This was a little ridiculous...
The race itself was very cool. Venue was cool, 738 racers was cool. As much of a festival feeling that you get at home in the east, it was even more so here. They seemed to have more classes, which were all about 70 riders or so, more people racing. The had a beginner class, below the c class were tons of guys were on FS bikes, or just mountain bikes. We don't see that too much around here. The SINGLE SPEED CLASS had 68 riders as did the B's. This was some good racing. Registration as chaotic, which surprised me. Venue and racing wise these guys were on it. I admit, I am surprised at the lack of results and the chaos at registration. But I guess this is all part of the fun. Hats off to the promoters.

dude--
their registration sucks because they don't use BikeReg.com. It sucked at Portland Nats for the past two years. Their results suck b/c they don't have the amazing officials that we have here. Fun is cool and all--biggest and baddest races in the country should be run professional-like and shit.
