Sunday, more base miles, Buddy the leg breaker, Matty (run forest), FortJames, Ted Logic and I headed out for almost 4 hours. It was good. Going out we had a good tail wind. Ted Logic attacked in the head wind sections, and then made scarce appearances in the head wind on the way home. I wasn't really surprised, cagy bastard. Matty (run forest) was the man today; he took some seriously long pulls into the head wind. We came into one section with some shelter and I said to him kinda joking, kinda not, "go to the back and rest while you can, we are gonna need you at the front later..." He smiled at me. Best line of the day, was during one of Ted Logic's tail wind attacks, and I said we should back off a bit. To which Ted replied, "fuck 'em, leave him for dead." With a shit eating grin on his face. Damn cagy bastard. Remember pay backs are a bitch. Buddy was also a strong presence at the front, thank god. FortJames seemed to pay for whooping our asses yesterday a bit today. Me, I was the last dude up the last climb of the day. I'm not sure I was even in the same time zone as those guys.
